Benefits From Flossing!

Everyone hates and lies about this one thing: FLOSSING. Why does everyone dread flossing? Maybe it is too much work for many, but sadly it really helps our dental health.


There are many parts of our tooth that we cannot reach with a regular toothbrush because teeth are right next to each other; therefore, by flossing one is able to get those hard to reach surfaces. By not flossing, you are missing 35% of your tooth surface, which means you really are not cleaning your teeth at all if you do not floss.


Flossing takes out those bits and pieces of left over food you ate the whole day and helps maintain your dental health. It also helps with bad breath and prevents tooth decay as well. By not leaving the food between your teeth, bacteria will not have anything to eat which will not let your tooth decay.


It is a huge benefit to floss, and it is very important to do so every day! Do you floss, or are you just lying to your dentist? By the way.... your dentist KNOWS if you floss or not just by looking at your teeth. #stayaware #dentalhealth
